    In our experience, if the hooks sit slightly loosely in the eyelets then you can squeeze the arch on the metal hook together a little and possibly put the two hooks together (behind the laces) but valve rubber. Apply a little hairspray to the ends to keep them firmly.

    Valve rubber is available in meters at well-stocked bicycle dealers or on the grid.
